Cattleguards are used in farming applications to keep cattle from crossing a fence line when the fence crosses a road. Cattleguards are used instead of gates. Not suitable for all livestock.
Our cattleguards are 14 feet long X 8 feet wide X 1 feet deep and weigh 8000 lbs. Featuring 5/8 inch rebar and fiber reinforced 5000 psi concrete. Rated to ~12,000 lb. axle load.
All concrete is batched on site and we NEVER use job site returns or “hot concrete”.
